FAQ

In order to enroll in SamRewards™, you need to open a Live Account on the S.A.M. Trade website. You will earn SamPoints by performing specific tasks. Refer to the FAQ “How do I earn SamPoints?” for elaboration on these specific tasks.

SamPoints are the points that count toward a level upgrade and they can also be used for redeeming prizes.

SamPoints are the points that count towards a Tier upgrade and for exchanging prizes. SamPoints are credited to the SamRewards™ programme participant account upon performing specific tasks. Refer to the FAQ “How do I earn SamPoints?” for elaboration on these specific tasks. 

Along with the tier upgrade, a larger amount of SamPoints will be earned per each valid trade activity, due to the multiplier effect.

SamRewards™ status consists of 4 tiers starting from the lowest to the highest tier:

Your SamRewards™ status is valid for 365-day period since the day of tier attainment.

When you qualify for a tier promotion, it will be upgraded automatically. The new tier that you have obtained will be reset for another 365-day period.

Once 365 days from the date of tier attainment has lapsed, your SamRewards™ status will be refreshed according to either one of the conditions illustrated below – You either maintain your tier status or it goes down to a lower level.

You are a Gold tier member starting from 1 January 2021. If you do not get to Platinum tier by 31 December 2021 and also did not meet the number of SamPoints required to retain your current Gold tier, your new tier will be downgraded to Silver.

The progress bar in your SamRewards™ section in the Client Portal shows the number of SamPoints you need to qualify for the next tier. When a client reaches a new tier, the number of SamPoints required to qualify for the next tier restarts. You can track your SamPoints history in your Client Portal.

Here are all the different ways to earn SamPoints. Also, you earn more points with a higher SamRewards™ tiers!

*If you trade at 0.01 lots, the SamPoints earned will be 1/100 the amount traded.

E.g. The client is a Gold member, and the tier multiplier is 1.5x. If this client deposit USD 5,000 and traded 0.1 FX lot, he will earn: (1.5 x 10) + (1.5 x 10) = 45 SamPoints

In order to earn the reward, both conditions must be met:

• The referred client cannot be a current S.A.M. Trade client.

• The referred client must successfully open a live account and conduct one trade.

You may redeem the prizes by clicking the “Redeem” button in the SamRewards™ Section in the Client Portal.

Once a SamRewards™ prize is redeemed, the respective SamPoints will be deducted from the account. Clients may redeem the same prize multiple times, as long as the client account has the required amount of SamPoints.

As you progress to a higher SamRewards™ tier, you will gain access to better rewards and privileges.

SamPoints are valid for 365 calendar days from the day it was attained. It expires automatically.
